After my experience as a Unity Game Developer at HyperAxes, UK, and a life experience in Tokyo, I feel ready for a new work experience that brings me in contact with interesting people and cultures!
I graduated from the master's degree program in software engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy. During my university career, I had the opportunity to learn and improve skills suitable for game development, such as Unity, Blender, principles of game design, and programming languages such as C#, C++, and Java. In addition, I have deepened my study of software architecture, design patterns, programming algorithms, math, and algebra.
I collaborated with various group projects. In particular, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Italian Institute of Technology to develop my thesis project, called Tangram VR. It is a VR application made in Unity 3D for the Meta Quest 2 headset, and it is an exergame that aims to help people with multiple sclerosis in their cognitive rehabilitation journey. In the application, I also integrated text-to-speech systems provided by Microsoft Azure and a lip sync system, to increase the degree of immersion of the virtual environment. This allowed me to improve myself a lot, allowing me to work in a cross-functional team, where I was able to learn from my experienced colleagues. A paper was derived from the project and was presented recently at the IEEE 13th ICCE in Berlin.
