Hello there!
You’ve stumbled upon the portfolio of Keivan Ameri. Here you can view my résumé, a few of my projects, and my publications.
I'm a Computer Engineer who has always been passionate about video games and photography. I have experience in developing games in Unity.
My goal is to develop projects that aim to leave something beyond mere entertainment.
Currently, I'm working as a Unity Game Developer at HyperAxes, a young London-based company that is considering expansion into the world of mobile games.
I graduated from the master's degree program in computer engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy. During my university career, I had the opportunity to learn and improve skills suitable for game development, such as Unity, Blender, principles of game design, and programming languages such as C#, C++, and Java. In addition, I have deepened my study of software architecture, design patterns, programming algorithms, math, and algebra.
During these university years, I collaborated with various group projects. In particular, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Italian Institute of Technology to develop my thesis project, called Tangram VR. It is a VR application made in Unity 3D for Meta Quest 2 headset, and it is an exergame that aims to help people with multiple sclerosis in their cognitive rehabilitation journey. This allowed me to improve myself a lot, giving me the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team, where I was able to learn from my experienced colleagues. A paper was derived from the project and was presented recently at the IEEE 13th ICCE in Berlin.
